Steven A. Shapiro, a New Jersey and New York Certified Public Accountant, has been an accounting and tax professional for over 25 years. As a CPA, he has advised clients on complex financial and business matters, resulting in cost savings and improved operations. As a CFP, he pays close attention to the personal financial planning issues of the owners of closely held corporations.

Mr. Shapiro's educational background includes a B.A. in economics and an M.B.A. from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He received a prestigious award for outstanding performance on the CPA exam. He passed the CFP exam on the first sitting. Mr. Shapiro has also published articles on tax planning.
